Abstract

ELFIAN MARCOS JUANDANIL, Overview of the Length of Time for Provision of Outpatient Medical Records at Agung Jakarta Hospital, Scientific Writing, Jakarta: D-III Program for the Bhumi Husada Jakarta Academy of Medical Records and Health Information in 2022.” Medical Records, namely "Written and recorded information about identity, anamnesis, diagnosis and treatment". The contents of the medical record belong to the patient, while the medical record itself belongs to the hospital or health institution. The implementation of the medical record system must be supported by a good medical record system. The distribution of good medical records is the distribution of medical records that are fast, precise and efficient. Distribution of medical records must be able to support health services, especially quality outpatient services. According to the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 129 of 2008 concerning Minimum Service Standards, it states that the quality indicator for outpatient services is waiting time in outpatient care. the standard for the time to provide medical record documents for outpatient services is <10 minutes, while for the time for providing medical record documents for inpatients <15 minutes. By using descriptive research methods, the results of the study still found delays in the distribution of medical records at Agung Jakarta Hospital with the result that 74 medical records were still >10 minutes, the cause was a shortage of medical record officers, different service locations on floors with storage rooms and systems that were still manual, thus causing delays in the distribution of medical records. To improve medical record services, it is advisable to add human resources, move the storage room to the 1st floor and create an appropriate system to achieve better medical records.
